Obviously everyone knows about Bowie, Oden, and Roy, but now just when they are looking so good both McCollum and Nurkic break bones and are going to miss extended time.  They just can't catch a break.

I like how you ended your post with the perfect pun.

If they weren't cursed before, they certainly are this season. Charles Barkley bet $100K on the Blazers to come out of the West, during his NBA on TNT show.

I forgot about Sam Bowie's injury, so I had to look it up. During my search, Michael Jordan came up. Supposedly, the Bulls only selected Jordan because the top two big men  were gone and they wee unable to trade the pick that would be Jordan, for centers Jack Sikma (Seattle) or Tree Rollins (Atlanta).

Brandon Roy getting hurt like that was a real bummer.  He was a ton of fun to watch.

Nurkic has always been brittle, so no shocker there. McCollum will be back.

Celtics fans that complain about injuries every time something happens should put the blazers streak of injuries into perspective. I’m too lazy to look it up but every year without exceptions they have 3-4 starters or rotation players out for a season or more than a few months.
Last couple years- Rodney hood, Nurkic , Zach Collins and I think I’m missing some others

Hard to believe it's already been nine years since his NBA career effectively ended. His playoff comeback against the Mavericks that postseason was tremendous to watch, especially after a really brutal season:

Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time.

But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.

Definitely need to feel for their fans to an extent.

A bit snake-bitten but one the more passionate fanbases in the league.

Don't care since the Celtics have been snake bitten with injuries that have probably cost them at least one title, maybe two, and a chance at a couple more since 2008.
