Kyrie is ****ing useless with Westbrook on him. Brad needs to sit the kid if we're going to make a dent in this lead. Look at the difference between he and Jaylen Brown - it's absolutely absurd. Physically, one can hang in this game, and the other can't. Problem is, we traded away what will potentially be another Jaylen Brown-level prospect, an arguably better player, and a starting SF for him. SMH. I want to see him fail. He can wear his little post-game mittens in Minnesota.
They arr collapsing on kyrie.. because brown shot frok deep is off..
I really don't give a ****. He's a superstar. Play like it. I don't even care if he can't hang -- we gave up too much for him not to play with some chops. It pains me that Boston fans are not shredding him. He's such a little cupcake.
No, he's definitely been way too passive tonight. It's nights like tonight that he has to be the "guy" that he wanted to be. He needs to take over.
Thank you, jp. I don't care if a guy goes down swinging.. but at least take some initiative and fight out there. That's all I want to see in a game like this. These can be confidence-altering games, esp for such a young team.
You went ghost.. where u at??
Watching. I gave him credit in my last post. Thankfully he has done his job for half of the 4th quarter. Thank God for the consistency of Horford and Jaylen throughout. This game is now on Kyrie - his to win or lose. And I'll give credit where it's due.
I can respect that... Just understand ecery game has a different flow.. kyrie found his spot and killed it
Back at you.
Credit where it's due - Kyrie played great in the clutch. He hit some big time shots. But imo, it was his penetration and kicks to Al (who was remarkable) for 3s that won this game. He's much, much better at penetrating than I thought. I hope he becomes more consistent there, and guys need to make shots. Also, I thought their PnR switch to get Adams on Kyrie would be a bad move - felt sure others could help off and Kyrie wouldn't finish - but he made a great finish.
Props to Smart for starting that penetration earlier in the 4, Jaylen for his aggression, offensive contributions, and rebounding. Ojelye, Smart, et. all stepped up when it mattered. Big road win for a young team.
So, while I'd argue my frustration was warranted,
I was clearly wrong in doubting Kyrie tonight.
