I can't imagine paying all that money for oft injured Blake
He used to be exciting and fluid now he
seems geriatric .
Al Horford is so much better.
Detroit is paying all that money-big slow mistake.
-
Yeah. Could get ugly there quickly. Glad we dodged that bullet.
-
Not the same guy post injury.

Not the same guy post injury.
Which one?
-
Not sure, but he is not the high flier he used to be...
-
Horford defended him perfectly. Morris took his turn shutting him on a couple of plays too.
Griffin made himself look pedestrian as well. His post moves were deliberate and plodding, very little upfaking. Even when he was wide open on the 3-pt line, it never seemed like it was going in, and mostly it didn't.

First time I’ve heard Horford described as “youth”. ;)
-
Roy-not exactly what i meant!!! Watching Tatum and Brown run the court and then Blake plow through the lane in slow motion.
That was a hard game to watch.
A warning for Jaylen stay out of dunk contests and take care of yourself.

Tatum and Brown played that game like they could not give a sheet.
I wish Pop was our coach.
-
POP can't even get Kawhi on the court--
Brad at this time with his demeanor is better suited and still teaching basketball and hands on in practice.
If you enjoy watching a lumbering Blake Griffin and how much does he make !!!
His athleticism is plain and simple gone and that was BLAKE GRIFFIN-
The Clippers got lucky

Huh? Brown outplayed Stanley Johnson and Tatum outplayed anyone they tried to put on him.

Brown got was 2 for 8 with 3 rebounds in 24 minutes.

The only indicators of effort right?

Blake Superior was probably more about filling seats than winning. But, I'm doubtful they can nudge out Miami or Philly for the 8th seed.

Since 2008 playoffs.

BLake Superior?! Lolllll. And good call -- looks like they may just miss the playoffs behind PHI and MIA. TP, tar.

Haha I like it.
I think MIA will hold off DET for the 8th spot. MIA is ugly but gritty. I'd like the Blake/Drummond combo if they had great shooting. They don't. I think this duo can be 3 and 4 on a very good/championship team. DET is stuck in the middle again, and are not likely going to get a superstar or even allstar to move the needle. Which means that this whole trade won't matter all that much.

Good nickname, but did you just quote yourself and then give yourself a fake TP?
I saw my potential self in the mirror there, and decided it was time to get off the forum and go to bed.

Stan Van Gundy made a deal for this guy and didn't even put a plan in place to get his game going. As your superstar, you build around his strengths and at least put him in situations to succeed. Gundy didn't none of those things. The Pistons essentially made it easy for Celtics to contain Blake.
Team will be fine as soon as Gundy makes the necessary adjustments top to bottom. Look to next year for real signs that Blake has lost his mojo.
