glad to see PP got some burn, even though we are missing bigs not guards

Going ten deep tonight with fewer players.

Smart needs to calm down and not being trigger happy. He only shots 3-9 while other players shot much better. he should not slow down the tempo of the game.

I was going to say the same.  I'm concerned he is going to go crazy on shooting 3s.

If he cuts back on shooting the 3's in an effort to play better team offense, don't worry, Coach Joe will chew him out for not continuing to jack up 3's to get our "3-point rate" back up. It's the most important stat in basketball.

1st half assists
JB-5
MS-4
MB-4

I like seeing that, our leaders are sharing the ball

I was working and missed the 1st half.  We must have done something right, we are ahead.
TP for a quick summary from anyone....

Playing much more like the beginning of the year - lots of ball and player movement leading to good looks

Knocking down a good portion of threes, mostly good looks

Playing MUCH faster than last night, and it's really helping not let them set their defense

JB, Smart, Brogdon, GWill all having really good games. Everyone playing pretty well overall, though.

Our pace was terrific in the first half.

Does Tatum's absence have anything to do with this? He seems to slow our offense down, especially when he wants to act like PG and bring the ball up.

I love JT, but this is worth a discussion.

Great pace and ball movement.  Also supreme 3 point shooting, led by Grant going 4/4!!

These gambling ads in an actual playoff game are going to be so ridiculous

"Hey, which team will get screwed tonight!"  ::)

Sometimes it seems that the games are the least important things.
sometimes?  you'd think with the volume of gambling ads that the only purpose of the game is to bet on it in every way imaginable.   nauseating

In the past we’ve needed Smart to step up offensively when one of the Jays is out.  We don’t need that from him anymore.  He needs to play his role.
