Quote from: jpotter33 on March 05, 2023, 06:13:15 PMOkay, so Timelord and Brogdon both out tonight for sure now. I get it with Brogdon. With Brunson out tonight and a B2B tomorrow, save him today and hope he can play tomorrow. The big question will be Al. We really, really need him tomorrow against Cleveland without Timelord. I wonder if we’ll see if Joe tries to limit Al some tonight with the possibility of playing tomorrow, too.I understand playing it safe with Al, but given the situation and how close we are to the number one seed, as long as Al doesn’t have an injury or nursing anything I try to play him tomorrow too as long as he doesn’t get major minutes tonight.I'm hoping Horford plays the next two, and then maybe they rest him either this Wednesday or Saturday. Because yeah if he can't go tomorrow we're really screwed against Cleveland. Unless the team is fine taking a "scheduled loss" tomorrow assuming they win tonight. Whether we like it or not, they've sort of done it before. I mean they won, but against PHI a month ago they ruled BOTH Timelord + Horford out and it was legit our 3rd stringers vs. Embiid

Don’t you guys find disturbing how the NBA pushes betting so hard?Sports betting is dangerously addictive.I mean, feels like every time ESPN comes back to the studio, there is a draft kings segment. I am very disappointed.

A ton of teams are sponsored by betting sites/companies. It will get a lot worse now that betting is becoming more prominent/profitable in more states.

It just seems like a terrible look for ESPN to be the only one doing it. Since you know, obvious big market biases with ESPN/ABC

It's absurd
