Jared Weiss: NBA L2M report says Grant Williams should have been called for a jump ball violation and that Joe Mazzulla should have been called for a tech when he ran into the front court to call a timeout. Refs also missed Gobert being out of bounds when forcing the jump ball.  – via Twitter JaredWeissNBA

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

So there wouldn't be a jump ball nor a need for a timeout if they had called Gobert out of bounds. Got it!

Tatum questionable for tomorrow

I wouldn’t be surprised if he missed both of the next two games. His hip is probably sore but also he hasn’t been that good the last few games and looks a bit mentally exhausted out there. A weekend off might do him and the team some good

hopefully that'll be the end of him missing games this season - including the playoffs

You would hope.

They said he'd miss 7-10 days back on March 6, and now it's 11 days later and it's another 5 to 7 days. I mean I can understand being cautious and preserving him I guess, but it looks like he'll have missed 3+ weeks. Not just "7 to 10 days"

I think they'll be OK in the playoffs. Too much talent not to be. Just need to refocus on the defensive end and make some better decisions on shot selection.

They need to just have Timelord as a role player at this point. A 20-25 minute guy who in some cases can go 30 minutes depending on circumstances or the game.

If they just continue using him as a starter, he'll probably just get hurt again. He'd probably also be more lethal going up against opposing team's 2nd units, and this still doesn't preclude him from helping with the closing lineup if the situation calls for it. But at this point, expecting 28+ MPG from Timelord would be a mistake. Let White start more with Smart, Jaylen, Tatum and Horford

He’s back…  :)

Williams (hamstring) isn't listed on the injury report for Tuesday's contest against the Kings, Jared Weiss of The Athletic reports.
