This is going to be the thread for the 2014-15 Yahoo! H2H League -- a 20 team, 11-category dynasty league. This post will hold most important info throughout the offseason & regular season.

1. Cutdown date is going to be Friday, October 17 at 11:59 pm.

2. For your cutdown list you can post in the thread, PM me or email me a list. Please use this format:

(I believe the teams that have announced or emailed their keepers are Juggernauts, Birdman, Larrybird 17, Utah; If you feel you've posted/sent them in, please repost/resend.)

2b. As per past practice, any team that does not post/email in their cut down roster will have it cut down by me and whatever band of idiots other GMs are in the thread Saturday morning.


3. Also by Oct. 16 you need to go onto Yahoo! and SELECT AS KEEPERS whichever of the 16 players you ended last year with that are still on your roster.

For some teams (like Utah and GC) this will be a low number, for some it may be all 16 players.

This way, hopefully all I'll have to do is go in and assign whatever players (rookies, traded players) changed teams --- a relatively small # (say 40-50) of the 320 total players.


4. I'll send out a PM and email once Yahoo! is live --- which will I believe start the 2 day window for the first round of Waiver Claims.

Thanks, I had some roster issues at PG & PF, but other than that I tried to always have a full roster. Too bad the good karma didn't work out for me or the Celtics unfortunately.

Either way before this snowballs -- and to give everyone fair warning on where I stand:

In a dynasty league like ours rebuilding and/or tanking are much different than in a redraft (or even keeper) league.

If a team thinks they can't get any better with the team they have, it's their choice to get younger, stockpile picks, etc. I do not identify that as "tanking". Likewise teams have their stars get hurt and that can change a year where you're able to compete for the playoffs into a year where you're restocking.

THAT SAID, moving forward rostering significant number of N/A players and/or not setting your lineups for extended periods of time WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

Unfortunately I was not commissioner last year so the options I feel comfortable with are limited -- but not non-existant.

Rosters and trading are locked until otherwise noted. And any penalties that arise from egregious inaction last season will be handed down and a replacement GM for Lucky (i see ya Jayhovaone) found before roster moves can begin again.
