Pre-Bubble he's a no brainer for the MVP.  Bucks were rolling.

I'm surprised it wasn't Duncan Robinson or Jae Crowder, but I guess they don't take the post-season into consideration on these awards.

Yes, Covid appears to have cost the Bucks and Bruins of potential titles this year. But it also allowed us to contend for a title sooner than expected.

Has to be near the top of the list of most disappointing playoff runs for a guy who won MVP, let alone MVP & DPOY.

I don't understand why there is such a delay between the end of the regular season and the announcement. There is just so much opportunity for a MVP, COTY etc. to be eliminated already. This makes the whole award look foolish and useless.

If you want to have regular season trophees, so be it, but then give them right when the regular season ends (for what they're worth) and then focus on the playoffs.

Also, I don't know when voting takes place but I'm sure people are influenced by the performances in the playoffs, which should not be the case.

Absurd that CP3 got more votes than Jokic and Lillard

That's just the bias people show to floor raisers. The fact that casual fans had very low expectations for the Thunder at the start of the season for some reason probably boosts their impression of CP3 this year as well.
