AIR BAYNES!!!  ;D

I'm actually glad he's back. Love him as a player, but also I feel if he did opt-out, that would have been an ominous sign as to how this summer would have played out for the C's.

Interesting in that Baynes said he needed to have a conversation with the team before committing. Horford said basically the same thing.

Between Yabu's tweet, Kyrie's cryptic IG post, and now this? I feel like something is going on.

Good. Love me some Baynes. Hopefully that means he’s talked with the team and they still expect to be competitive this coming year.

What Kyrie IG post are you referring to? Let me guess....it says "I can't say where I am going to play, but it won't be anywhere within 3,000 miles of Boston."

I think tomorrow was his deadline for opting in, so it doesn't seem like this is surprising at all, much like the Kyrie news.

With all his injuries this year Baynes probably wasn't getting close to $5.9 million for the upcoming season.

Deadline for Horford to opt in is 6/18/19.

Awesome, now we have $5.9M in extra salary to use in a trade  ;)

But, really, I like Baynes and am happy to have him back. He has won a championship and lays it all out on the court - a good role model for the young guys.
