It is not a curse, it is incompetence.
Cursed with incompetence.

They changed their owner, great move after decades.
They changed their GM, good move after decades, then years.
They kept their medical staff, even though each year 2 of their top players can't even suit up.
That is a bad move.
Maybe after another 10-15 years, Clippers truly become an NBA level franchise.

1) A torn glute sounds horrible.

2) This is not surprising at all, Gallo just can't stay on the court.

3) Does LAC trade Blake and Deandre this season?

4) How good is that 2019 Clips pick going to be?  I can't remember if there are protections on it.

It's top 14 protected for 2019 and 2020 and if it doesn't convey by then it becomes a 2nd rounder.  So, in short, we don't want the Clips to be in the lottery for both 2019 and 2020.

...I'm sure it happens, but I don't think I've ever heard of a torn ass in basketball before.

The Clippers pick is protected in the lottery (picks 1-14) in 2019 and 2020. If it’s not conveyed after 2020, then the Celtics will instead a receive 2022 second-round pick.

I’ll take “Lou Williams for the DPE and a 2nd round pick” for $1,000, Alex.

I feel he will command more than a 2nd, even as a rental.

They will probably want their pick back in that scenario, as that gives them far more flexibility in choosing a direction to rebuild later. Maybe we could offer our own first instead?

The luxury tax is set at $119M, so at least we'd stay under that

So that's definitely going to be a second round pick, then.
