[dang] garbage time, another close loss.. End even worse, the Heat won.
We both deserved it but in the end there can be only one  :)

Anyway, great series 33-00-32, nicely done and good luck to both of you in the finals.

** For those who may be confused by how I list the results, this is how it's broken down: **

team abbreviation   -   player's name (picked for that game)   :   that player's 2012-2013 scoring average   /   that player's points total for that game   =   that day's net score above/below player's average   /   that day's net margin over/under competitor's net score   //   net gain/loss of all games played to that point (all net scores added together)   /   net margin over/under competitor's net gain/loss to that point (this is used as a tie-breaker)    (win/loss record to that point)

Example:

CHI  -  Michael Jordan :  30.5 / 42 =  +11.5 / +4.3  //  +2.7 / +6.3  (2/1)

Hope this helps!

** Please send me a PM if you notice any discrepancies or errors. Leaders are marked in red, ties are marked in purple - in case of a tie, the total points difference decides the winner. Missing your pick or a DNP will result in a zero score, or five points less than that of your opponent's, whichever is greater. **

I'm going with the Western Conference and the San Antonio Spurs ... probably no surprise, being an obvious pick will probably seal my fate getting trounced by 33-00-32, but I just could not bring myself to take Miami.

33-00-32 - good luck, Bud, I'm honored to be your opponent.

I'll get the Big Board up ASAP.

Shocking! Hahaha! I believe that each round of the playoffs for me has involved one of these two teams. That familiarity should be a benefit but will probably be my demise.

I'm honored as well, good luck my friend.

Misha thanks for a tough matchup, TP to you.

The Big Board is up.

I have no idea who I'm going to start this series with ... Spurs can start cold at times.

I was thinking we could have a TP betting pool or something similar, to keep interest up, (in following seasons) ... just an idea.

Well, TZT, here we go ... first game on Thursday, and no matter what happens here, I'm hoping San Antonio hands the Heat their heads.

I guess for now I'm going to go with Udonis Haslem: 3.9  :-\

I really hope SAS crushes them in 4 games.

Good luck my friend B.

You, too, Buddy.

This should be an interesting exercise is humility for me.

In the Spur's last series, four of their five starters exceeded their average in only one game, (Parker twice), and even then, not by much.

To even stand a chance I'm going to have to be the luckiest I've been all year.

Ugh ... my hatred of Miami is going to cost me this time, I'm afraid.

Nice win, TZT ... I promised myself that I would keep making aggressive picks throughout this entire playoffs, but I went conservative anyway.

Got me by .1 bud, hahahaha! What a game for Green, nice timing on your part. This goes to 5 games + now, I'll never pick Traytor so that limits my picks. Miller is playing now though...
