Mitch Lawrence: KG a "classless winner"

I was listening to Full Court Press, the show today was hosted by Ian Eagle and Dee Brown, and one of the guests was Mitch Lawrence.

Some things he said:

"I..I don't want to say anything. Im not on the Pharrell show (on Howard Stern Radio, so he could swear), I'd rather not say anything about that."

"I've had enough KG to last me the next 10 years"

"From what I've seen, from him talking on the court and off, the guy is not what you'd call a classy winner."

Now these aren't verbatim, its just drawn from memory...but I think yall get the gist.

Yeah, he was so "un-classy" when he was being treated like Timber-leftovers in Minny.  He did all the terrible things like making fun of his ownership and management, complaining about his cast, talking in the media and on YouTube.....

I'd take KG's "classlessness" over that demonstrated by the Lakers' players, coaches, and fans any day.

KG has the best work ethics of anyone in the NBA.  He plays his heart out every game and does not diss his teammates publicly or show a me first attitude. He realizes there is no I in TEAM. KG maintains a class most professional athletes cannot began to be measured by on and off the floor.

These haters are stretching when they start calling this young man classless. It's one thing to dislike someone, but the truth speaks volume. I'm glad Paul Pierce developed into a great player, but without KG, Doc Rivers and the Celtics would not have been hoisting that trophy in the air Tuesday night. KG carried this team when Paul nor Ray played good during the early playoffs.

Yet, it was great to see all three play awesome during the final game.  My hat is off to KG and the whole Celtics organization.

I don't have a clue who Mitch Lawrence is but did you know that my neighbor, Billy Lawrence said, "KG was an emotional wreck after that game. It shows how much of himself he throws into the game and how much he wanted to be crowned a champ."

So if you don't like what Mitch Lawrence(who?) said maybe you'll like what my neighbor Billy Lawrence(probably equally as famous as Mitch) said.

I can understand the KG hate from people who hate the Celtics.  He's intense, and his demeanor demands a lot of attention.  If you don't understand his overall intensity, you'd just assume that he was a cocky jackass.  But it turns out he's not yelling to or at anyone...he's just yelling.  If I saw KG in a pickup game, I'd assume he was a jerk without getting to know him.
