Missed the game due to work but looks as though it was a well balanced easy win, good to see! Hoping they don’t somehow have another dud this series.

There is absolutely zero excuse for Boston losing game 2 by double figures at home to a Miami team missing arguably 2 of its top 3 players.  After that loss I was thinking for me to have any confidence in this team today they are going to need to prove to me that game 2 was a major anomoloy by taking game 3 by a very convincing double figure blow-out.

Thankfully they did exactly that.

I did say from the start Miami might get one fluke win in this series...lets hope that's all they get.  If Boston loses more then 1 game to a weakened 7th seed then I'll be deeply concerned about their chances of beating  some of the better teams out there over 7 games.

Now the day would be complete if the Lakers get swept tonight

I get that we all hate the lakers as Celtics fans but a lakers win tonight means
A) more basketball
B) more wear and tear on the nuggets

The nuggets are unquestionably winning that series but wouldn’t hurt my feelings to see them slip up and have to burn some more miles on those legs

At some point one of our starters is gonna get hurt with a 20+ lead late in a game and then Mazzulla will rightfully get scorched by everyone. It's a 22 point lead with 2 mins to go, COME ON BRO

Agree, look what happened to Giannis, pure fluke injury and now the Bucks' are down vs Indy.
They are supposed to be our biggest threat getting to the finals.

All about the defense tonight without 3s.

Hopefully, the players and coach will take notice.

I just feel like again, the C's coasted in Game 2 thinking it wouldn't take much to win. It won't cost them this series, but I fear it could maybe even as early as the ECF when they face the Knicks or Sixers. Can't play with your food so many times.

If they just keep playing defense like that then it should be an easy trip to the Finals. They can win even when the 3 isn't falling like tonight.

that is just it tho. they have done this for years now in the playoffs. you take each game as if it is a game 7 of the finals. never over look anyone. the fact they still have not matured in this area is worrisome.

Denver is the threat. The longer LA makes this go the better.

Phantom remember when he took people out during the Sac game and they came back and nearly won and people hammered him for taking stars out too early…I remember because I was in that game thread. People saying he “took the win for granted, fans don’t pay to watch us give up leads blah blah”.…he can’t win when it comes to this he will get hammered either way

I do agree with you by the way but he wants to make sure we secure the win probebly, and not have some late Miami flurry make the score respectable

Yeah, I think that was like 3 weeks ago though when we had fully clinched. I didn't mind it given we didn't want to risk injuries, but it can be a tough crowd lol.

I still think it's ridiculous that with a 20+ point lead with only around 3 mins to go, you have everyone out there. It was the same thing in Game 1, and we're lucky Tatum didn't get seriously hurt with only 90 seconds to go and we were up 16 then.

TD Garden is cursed.

In the playoffs so far, Bruins and Celtics a combined 2-2 at home (each split 1-1)

On the road? Combined 3-0 (B's won both @ Toronto, C's so far won Game 3)  :P

I'm just inclined to believe Boston has an advantage playing on the road than at the TD Garden. Just forget about playing playoff games at the Garden.
