Heckuva run. Just short of miraculous they could pull this close. Looked cooked at the 5 minute mark.

Can't believe Doc has made no adjustments to the rotation ... the whole Sammy/PJ thing is useless against this Cavs team, and it astonishes me that he fails to recognize it. Hopefully the C's will dig down deep and find a way to win regardless ... I have faith they will.

the real question is, will doc keep rajon in if he stays hot, or kill him with his typical "well rajon, its 4 minutes left in the third, you know what that means!"

please doc, you don't even need to be a good coach on this one, just an average one..

This confirms what everyone felt deep inside...Pierce needs to be the #1 option in order for us to advance.

Long game, we're fortunate to be in it making many of the same mistakes as the past two games.

Poor ball movement for the first 20 minutes of the game, a little better attacking the rim but we can't get a call, rebounding's been horrible, Perkins is absolutely awful AGAIN.

Fortunate to be this close.

he's below-average and he proves it anytime it matters

Pierce, Rondo, and KG have combined for 36 of the Celtics 43 points. Ray has another 5.

The rest of the team has 2 points

Last 4 minutes were VERY encouraging, especially the ball movement - after 20 minutes of the ball sticking after almost every pass (and all-around awful play), we finally started working the ball around like we did all regular season, and it showed, and fed us on defense too.  We won't dominate like that stretch the whole 2nd half, but if we can keep moving the ball like that, we'll win this game.

Up next, 15 minutes of LeBron fellation, followed by more of your regularly scheduled game...

Has anyone else noticed that Posey can't seem to stay in front of LeBron today? It seems like Pierce is doing a decent job, so I don't think that LeBron is putting in a special effort into taking it to the paint.

And has Eddie House been teaching Rondo how to shoot?

Pierce has done a much better job than Posey defensively on LeBron James.

They need to move the basketball on offense. Not turn the game into a mano a mano with Lebron. They celtics just don't seem to be willing to initiate contact on the drive. Its frustrating as hell to watch fadeaway after fadeaway from Garnett.
