Is it safe to say that Kelly Olynyk was a good pick by Ainge now?

I like Olynyk, but in a draft where we missed on Giannis and on Gobert, its hard to call him a good pick.

Olynyk has the skillset to be a lot better then he is. The biggest thing holding him back is his insecurities in himself. You can see how he's more concerned with fitting in then taking over. It might just be his personality and we might never see him reach his full potential.

The other thing that irks me is a lot of guys take cheap shots at Kelly and he never retaliates. It's a good thing to be friendly but being too friendly is hurting him. A little toughness and stick up fro himself would go a long way to becoming a better player. He needs to find that anger that a lot of players can tap into that makes them tough to deal with.
