Brad Stevens out, Popovich in.

Now you are SET.

Yes! Doc Rivers was traded for a 1st! :P ;D

Also - Ainge out, <insert another GM> in

No I'd rather have Tim Duncan as our coach - seriously.

If we couldn't get him in 1996 then I'd rather have him in this capacity at least.

Heck he STILL looks in shape...maybe he could suit up for us for a few min a game.

When you can't beat a Sixers team without Embiid and all the core 5 players of the Celts are healthy, it's unacceptable!

The sky is falling when a G-League player named Pelle outplays Enes Kanter.

Pelle?

Seriously?

And Al Horford abused Theis in the paint late in the 4th qtr.

So yeah, the sky is falling!

Remember that time the Jordan Bulls lost 10 games in a season, all to inferior teams?

Slackers. Somebody should have torn that team down. No heart.

That was a team with Michael Jordan.

This current Celtics team have no one close to being a Michael Jordan.

It's freakin' mid January.  The team is 25-11.  Current 3 seed in the East.

The point is that even the best of teams have slumps.  Hell, look at some of other top teams in the NBA this season.  You know what you'll find?  3 game losing steaks.

Let's wait until the spring before we start jumping off cliffs, shall we?
Danny admitted that he messed up last year with his lack of moves and trades. He’s about to mess up again. This team is at most a second round exit and everyone knows that.
When everyone is healthy it’s a toss between Celtics , Miami Raptors and pacers for third best team in east.
Slumps and losing streaks happen to all teams but this one feels different.
Let’s do something to address our needs. If not for this year let’s do something that will enable us to make the right move next year. Get on more salary goign into next year so we can trade for a bigger contract (star player)

What's the "something" they should do?

I was going to trade him too but the Poison Pill Provision made it too difficult, so keeping my binky was just a really nice bi-product of that!😄

Great satire.   ;D

I keep telling myself to focus on the fact that the Celtics are still, despite this recent slump, on pace to win 57 games.

The Celts are also:

9th in Offensive Efficiency (108.3)
4th in Defensive Efficiency (102.7)

They also have two wings aged 21 and 23 that are playing at an All-Star level.

If I told you before the season the Celts were going to win 55+ games with a top 5 defense and a top 10 offense, and both Jaylen and Jayson are playing like All-Stars, I think anybody on this board would have been thrilled about that.

I know I would have.

We have to roll with the punches.  It's a long season.  Even very good teams have slumps.  Not every season is going to 86 or 08.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

The Celtics are also the youngest team in the league and maybe the least experienced. I would need to look that up.

Yeah, most were predicting 50ish wins maybe, and with one, maybe two All-Star caliber players.

The expectations have grown as people have seen what this team
is capable of, so a mini-slump is natural a bummer

Maybe get Bielica and Holmes from the Kings? That will improve the bigs' rotation a little bit...
They make $12.1M combined next season so that can help with trading for a star in the summer.
We will need to send Poirer and a couple young guys so that will not be well accepted by most on CS .
