The kings season is slipping away, would a late first rounder + Kanter + late bench guys get him?

They like him and he’s under a cheap contract for two years. Kanter or Theis’ contract would be enough, salary-wise. No idea what the Kings would want but a late-first seems low. They’ll want a player they like or more pick value.

I'd rather have Kanter than Holmes.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

holmes would be a good get, but no 3p range so wouldn't play much lol.  He is 82% ft shooter so he could probably add it like baynes.  1.4b per game, 8.5 rebounds, and 26.  I'd try RW3, filler, and a pick to give them more long term upside.  RW3 and one of edwards, semi, poirer plus a pick would be worth it for me.  Late first I'd think.  He is a 30 min/game player so JT/GH, RH, Theis, kanter would be a nice rotation for the 2 bigger spots.

Always have liked Holmes but giving up Kanter would not be wise at all.  Find another deal for him..

No given the role he plays for them and the fact that he's locked in at 5 million for next year I don't see them trading him for a random pick.

He's a 25minutes guys, so to let him play there won't be much minutes left for Kanter, he also has a similar game to Kanter, but with better defence and worse back to basket offence, Kanter doesn't have a 3pt shooting either so I don't think that would stop him from playing.

Yep

I'd rather both.  I'd rather upgrade from Poirer.  Depth is better than lack of depth, especially when you have a lack of quality at starter.  Options and matchups.  Semi is decent defending the Giannis types, but not good at other matchups.  POirer hasn't shown enough to be worth anything other than load management/garbage time.
