A very good start season indeed. Last night came back from 2:4 down vs Penguins after two quarter, only  to score 5 unanswered in the third.

Bruins look very good this year after 11 games. What's more surprising than their record is the play of the former Vezina Trophy winner, Tim Thomas. He is playing his but off and has won his first 8 games, a Bruins franchise record! At the same time, Tukka Rask has looked less than fantastic, loosing all 3 of the games in which he has started. I attribute this more to Thomas getting more ice time than anything, but I'm still glad that none of those off-season trades with Timmy actually materialized. I look for the Bruins to even the ice time for both goalies by mid-season and hopefully they don't decide to trade either of them (Thomas being the main trading piece in all rumors) because together we have the best goalie tandem in the league by a wide margin.

Other than the goalie situation, that Kessel trade is looking better and better every game. I believe we got three picks for him...a first and second rounder in 2010, and a first in 2011. With those picks, we traded for Nathan Horton who was previously considered by many to be a bust. He's a beast on the boards and in the corners, and to my surprise has gelled very well with our other players. We also got the number 2 pick in the last draft in Tyler Seguin. He has looked very sharp out there.

All in all, I look forward to a very exciting Bruins team this year and a very successful season for this City. Go B's!

Nice win tonigt and much needed. I think this is a very solid team this year, that just needs to work out a few kinks.

Has anyone else been following this year?  And has anyone else tuned out lately?

I personally, am just sick of Julien's system.

And the healthy scratch to Seguin (in favor of Paille??)the other night may have been the last straw for me.

I have to imagine the front office can't be too happy either.  They gave Julien some real firepower this summer, and they still can't score.  Having a tight defense is all well and good, but this team is not going to get to the next level until they take the shackles off their offense.

The "D to D" passes are mindnumbing, and the fact that they simply refuse to make forward passes to get the puck into the attacking zone is painful to watch.

I am really seeing clearly now why Julien was fired before the playoffs after leading the Devils to one of the best records in the league a few years ago.  I am hoping we are going to see something similar here soon.

I've been following and watch most games.  I like Julien, but something has to be done. Either in house the players need to get better, a trade needs to be done, or last option a Julien firing.

I'm sick of the Bruins not being able to put the puck in the back of the net.

Does anyone know who's between the pipes tonight against Minny? I'm hoping it's Tuukka.

And to top of a bad night, Toronto won.  I'm hoping for another top-five pick out of them this year.

Glad to see other people on here that are watching.  At times I feel like I am the only one.

Didn't catch the game tonight, but sounds like it's the same old story.

Congrats to Patrice Begeron on his first career hat trick and Tim Thomas on his league leading sixth shutout of the season.

Overall great effort and execution by the guys in black and gold tonight.

3 fights in the fist 4 seconds!  2 goals in the first minute 20.  4 fights in the first 4 minutes and 3 goals in the first 10 minutes for the B's!

What a crazy game!!!

What a crazy game!!!

Game vs. Dallas in 2008-09 changed the season that year and lead the Bruins to the best record in the East.

Lets hope this game does the same!
