Eddie House will win the 3 point shooting contest at the All Star game without missing a shot. The same Eddie House who wasn't even invited last year (what a joke).

SexyScottish will find new ways to talk trash about the refs and rightfully so.
The Celtics will win it all anyway.

Sasha Vujacic will finally make the transition from the NBA to the WNBA.

Bill Simmons will reference Teen Wolf, the new 90210 and the new Melrose Place 10,000 times during the season in his columns about the NBA.

McHale will try to clothesline Rambis during a game. McHale will be doing the colour commentary and Rambis will be coaching the Wolves.

Cleveland will petition the league so that Mo Williams, Anthony Parker, Anderson Varajeo, Jamario Moon and J.J Hickson are all-stars along with Shaq and Lebron.

I will complain about the refs at least 10,000 times during the season.

For a little less homerific prediction to look at:

http://www.basketball-reference.com/blog/?p=3675#more-3675

I don't think Toronto will be all that good, but other than that I can't argue with most of what they say. I do think Cleveland will have a let down this year in the regular season.

Is that a promise?   ;D

Most likely an understatement.

Some not-so-unique ones:
  • C’s big 3 play relatively injury free all year missing less than 10 games combined.
KG: wins DPOY and Comeback player of the year.
    Sheed: 6th man award
Rondo: racks up the same stats as last year during the regular season but ups his performance in the playoff to almost average a triple double.
C’s over Cle in the ECF in 5.
Lakers over Spurs in WCF in 5.
C’s over Lakers in 7 for the title.  Lakers have a full and healthy roster eliminating any hopes of blaming their loss on injuries.
    Pierce gets finals MVP.

Some that haven’t been offered yet.
  • Toronto underperforms and barely makes the playoffs.
Orlando almost catches Cle for the 2nd best record.
Spurs underperform and come in 3rd in the West behind LA and Denver.
All rookies look abysmal (except Lester Hudson and his total of 15 minutes of court time this year) and Blake Griffin wins because he’s the least offensive to watch.

Always been a fan of Darko. I really think he'll shine in New York if he actually gets the playing time.

He got minutes with the Grizzles and the Magic, he just isn't very good.

The combo of Pro-Darko talk and the Warriors making the playoffs is bold though.
