Nah-Tatum will be a KD/Pierce hybrid while Jaylen will be a Butler/Kawhi hybrid.

Jaylen to Butler comparison is decent

Dont see Tatum to KD comparisons. KD is 7'0 with a 7'6 wingspan freak that is nearly unstoppable when dialed in
Hence I said KD/Pierce hybrid. Also Tatum might grow a bit, and rn he's 6'9 or so with a really long wingspan. Obviously he'll likely never be KD type of long but it's not impossible to say that he'll be something like 6'10 with a 7'4 wingspan. That's still hella long lol.
And they play similarly. Assassins from range, good handles, efficient from everywhere. Tatum tries to create more separation than KD, who simply just rises up defended or not
Yeah because KD's extra inches is just that OP. And that's why I linked Tatum to Pierce as well, he creates separation a bit like Pierce.
Yeah, it really is unfair when you can casually shoot over Trevor Ariza like he's not even there.

Tatum is Pierce-like in the way he uses his body
Yeah. Hope he and Jaylen develop tbh and make a leap next year, if Jaylen's work ethic keeps up I can see him eventually working his way into a Kobe/Nique hybrid.
Jaylen Brown for All-NBA

I have been on it for a while.
Floor - Melo
Ceiling - KD

I hope he's a lot better than Paul George—that guy's just a glorified complementary player.

Tatum has the potential to be much better than PG on offense IMO

I agree with most that JB is a better comparison to PG, or Jimmy Butler, offensively Tatum’s talent is on another level. Brown needs to make big stride on his offence, otherwise he’s more likely turn into Igadala

Brown have alot of work to do in the off season. I expect him to only get better, especially after that painful defeat.

Not that I think it really would make much of a difference in terms of off-season inspiration , but to lose a close series in the ECF rather than get demoralized in a 4-game drubbing in the Finals (which was probable), may produce a slightly better mindset over the next 4 months.

I'm fine with we losing, but not fine with this epic choke job, Brown should be ashamed about himself for tonight's performance , there is no BUTs.

- Kobe had couple of choke jobs against the Jazz in both 98 and 99 season
- Kawhi choked on a championship clinching free throw
- Lebron himself have some epic chokejobs

Jaylen will grow stronger. He's a competitor.

He also came up huge in game 6 which was also a possible close-out job.

As for the George-Tatum comparison, I don't know. Isn't George known as the guy who can't perform with the game on the line? Literally the first game we ever saw Tatum in a Cs uniform (summer league), he hit a game winning shot at the buzzer. George is an All-NBA type player, though, and that is a great place for Tatum to start.

Similar in body type, but Tatum has a better offensive profile as a number one option than George.

He's useless if you want to win a championship.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

He's better than PG offensively, heading into KD area IMO. He needs to increase his strength by 20-30% in the off season and he will be a beast!

I think the Brown - Butler comparison is a fair one, technically he is ahead of where Butler was at this point in their careers.
