C's will be under .500 when they get back from this road trip.

every time I watch, the Nets play really good fourth quarter defense. Not surprised

our loss and a nets win would be the ultimate sign that karma is real. we deserved this night because of the rude reaction to Kobe's retirement.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

If only we had biyombo.

I know it's kind of a joking refrain at this point, but we do lack an athletic presence like that inside.

On the other hand, Biyombo is a total zero offensively and scoring is where this team really struggles.  Also, Biyombo isn't equipped to handle big dudes like Vucevic and Lopez -- that's who really gives the Celts trouble.
Biyombo has played rather well filling in at starting center (Toronto is undefeated so far but tied tonight). I got a lot of heat for wanting him, but it was mostly taken out of context.  The majority of this forum wanted us to trade up for Willie Cauley stein. It would have cost us over 6 draft picks (4 first rounders) to move up and take stein. Made more sense just to sign biyombo for cheap since they were the same player.... Or maybe biyombo would give you 80% of what wcs could.   So far, they are about even this season. I stand by it.

WCS always concerned me because of his age as a prospect.  You didn't address what I said, though -- Biyombo wouldn't really help our team where they are weakest, which is on offense, and dealing with bigger post players.

Is Biyombo gonna prevent the Celts from getting squashed by Brook Lopez, Nik Vucevic, Andre Drummond, Deandre Jordan, Tim Mozgov, etc?  Maybe he'd help secure defensive boards.

C's have comeback from huge deficits in Orlando before. Just maybe

Impossible without Smart. No one is really playing with fire tonight.

Completely agree.  Say what you want about wins/loses with and without Smart, and his individual +/-, but the guy brings it every night.  Unlike some of these guys.
