This is a new show that began on Showtime, four episodes are currently out. I haven't seen any of it, but the premise intrigues me. From what I've read around, it hasn't gotten a lot of positive reviews, so I'm wondering if anyone here has seen it and give me their opinion on it.

Quote
Another twisted comedy about the unexpected nature of American families, this single-camera Showtime offering examines a wife and mother of two teens who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. Coping with it all is never easy, but it's always funny.

Toni Collette has signed on to play the lead role.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
I watched part of an episode.  It seemed alright...a little quirky, about on par with the other Showtime original series.  I'll watch it again, but I don't know if I can get into it.

Having Showtime really makes me wish I had HBO again.  I might pony up the money when Curb Your Enthusiasm comes back.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

But since it's created by Steven Spielberg and written by Diablo Cody... you just got yourself fired.  Ouch, bro.   You just lost the game.  Bummer...

Heh... but really when I first heard the concept I thought of Heroes for some reason.  The mother with the multiple personalities.   They just turned the concept into a comedy, I guess.

I watched the first few episodes.  It's actually pretty entertaining.   You can tell Diablo Cody is involved with the writing.   The teenagers are very Juno-esque.

Might give this a try. I think I read around that it was already picked up for a second season, so given that the network is going to stick with it for the time being, I think it'll be worth a shot.

There was nothing else on so I gave it a shot and ended up watching the first 5 episodes.   Not bad.

Ugh...that alone is enough to keep me away. I think Diablo Cody and her god-awful dialogue is the worst thing to happen to cinema since Larry the Cable Guy.

This show is entertaining enough for a 24-28 minutes show.

If it was a 40-43 minutes show, might be boring.
