A friendly reminder that for $300 million USD, you can either buy an entire Hawaiian island or get a combined 17 points on 18 shots in an NBA playoff game"

The Sixers would probably be better with Kamala Harris out there than Tobias Harris.

Just watch Brett BROWN postgame. Nothing to say against his speach and communication. But his face my god, it sounds totally the opposite thant the grit and hope speach he makes. He looks totally depressed, like he is under prozac... Time to take a long break far from basket.

I have to say, I called this and people scoffed at me in the off-season. I said that the sixers made a big mistake pouring huge money into Horford/Harris and letting Reddick/Butler go.

Is there any question now that the team would be much better with JJ Reddick/Jimmy butler?

Ouch... I'm a Celtics fan and that stung me a little bit. Depressing time to be a Sixers fan. I have a radical idea though. What if they shed all their big money players and tanked for multiple seasons as a reset? Maybe name the strategy so the entire organization can get behind it. I'd call it, The Development.

why so little mins for theis...
Kanter is far superior in this matchup. Theis is hopeless against Embiid in the post but Kanter can guard him reasonably well there.

Plus phillys perimeter guys are so bad and Philly never runs pick and roll so Kanters perimeter issues are hidden. He’s also a better rebounder which is important against a big team.

Finally Theis has been afraid to shoot wide open 3s so far which is an issue. So adding all that together it’s just better to have Kanter. In this matchup he’s actually a better defender and with Theis afraid to shoot it Kanters better for the offense too.

And the country would be better off with Tobias as VP .

that is the belief and hope of many posters on libertyballers site. i cant see how management can keep him after this performance.

yes, simmons is gone. but the celtics lose hayward and look at how the team approached game two in terms of focus and intensity and defensive effort.

thank you mr. ainge for getting CBS for the celtics.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Do the fans have any dream targets for their next coach?  Not that it makes a difference what the fans want, but just wondering if there's anybody out there that's appealing for them.

Whoever that is, wouldn't be surprised to see management go in the opposite direction.

Let's beat them first, then talk about about how their team will be dismantled.

Underrated part of the 4th quarter last night was Smart finally hitting a 3.  If we can get him to shoot a percentage anywhere near where he did in the regular season, that would be huge.
