Hard to believe this was just AL’s 2nd career triple double and first as a Celtic

It's never easy with this team...

This would be nomination for Post of the Year.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Infuriatingly weak team are these Celtics.  Hang on. Give the ball up.  Shoot early clock 3’s. Can’t get loose balls. I am not usually negative but I am so tired of the weakness of this team.  Awful. Should lose in round one. Put an end to this embarrassing version of the Celtics.

I feel the same way and I’m not usually negative either. Wins like this don’t feel good. An absolute garbage second half... we got lucky.

This team is just so quick to revert to awful habits. I won’t miss Rozier or Morris next season.

Same.  A lot of the wins this season are strangely ungratifying.

nothing we can do about it. just hope and pray brad reams his azz out in the offseason and DEMANDS we get to the hoop. we have seen this now for 78 games.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

horrible end to the game but I'll take a win.  I swear we're loaded with low BBIQ players that are determined to make blowouts into close games through a preponderance of lazy D and stupid plays on offense.

The dynamic duo of Morris and Rozier combining for 4-15. Yuck.

Didn't help that Baynes went 0-7 too.

I can't stand it when Morris gets 10+ shots but Hayward doesn't. AND BROWN DIDN'T EVEN PLAY!

If Miami shoots better than 27% from 3 or we shoot worse than 42% from 3 we lose this game. But one positive we can take out is that they didn’t fold like a cheap suit when the blowtorch was applied to them, they made enough plays to win at least. If we had lost this one after a 23 point lead it would have been catastrophic.

A win's a win.  Especially in game #78 where its really the dog days of the season and tough to be engaged and you're really just trying to stay healthy and waiting for the playoffs to begin.

I remember at least 3-4 times where he missed it by either one rebound or one assist. I was really pulling for him in this one and it turns out we actually needed him to play all the way down to the wire.

As others have said, not the most satisfying of wins, but phenomenal start to the game and good effort in closing it out. Hopefully these lapses won't be so pronounced when the playoffs start.

Wednesday's game in Miami is going to be a tough one. Does anyone know if Winslow and Richardson are supposed to be back?

I think they were only explicitly ruled out for the 2 road games. Not sure about their status after that

I absolutely loved how Kyrie took it right to Olynyk, drew the foul and got the basket. Funny how much better this team is when they attack the basket.

He was lucky. Kyrie played too much hero ball in end and it almost cost us.

How many times does one have to be "lucky" for it to not be considered luck any longer?

I commented on this earlier in the thread, that Kyrie would be forced to do this because nobody else was making a bucket:

Kyrie will start to iso now since nobody else can buy a basket

He made a couple of plays to get people open but they couldn't handle his pass. He was going to be forced to bail the team out again. In a way I can't blame him sometimes, his teammates weren't really helping out.
