The guy at the top of my list of players I don't want to trade for:  Terrence Ross.  It's going to be a gut punch to me if we use the TPE on him.

I mean it all depends on what we would pay for that said player.
For example I want Beal, but if we can only get him via sign and trade and on a super max contract I have 0 interest.

T-Ross is a good one. Empty stats / no impact player.

THANK YOU. His name has been brought up on here for like 4 years. I think there's a good reason he's been on the Magic for such a long time, and think he should stay there.

Alec Burks & Nic Batum are two other guys I want no part of.

TBH, most of the players being reported I don't want for some reason or another.  It's just going to be hard to add a true rotation player upgrade with either the MLE or the TPE, which I think pretty much would bring back the same kind player.

As to the question, I will throw a curve ball.  I'm not a big fan of kuzma.  Seems like a malcontent me sort of guy.  Isn't even an average 3 point shooter and still traumatized by his atrocious defense from earlier in his career.  I know they say he's improved but I think I heard that his defensive metrics are still bad (for what's it's worth).  Perhaps someone into those stats can confirm or deny.

Yeah, I’ve never been a fan and I’m definitely not now.  I’m not even sure he’s worth getting just to hold onto a salary slot for a future trade.

I would also only want Duncan Robinson if he came with some additional compensation.  Partly I don’t think he’s worth it, and partly helping Miami move his contract might open them up to being able to make a larger move, and that would not be a good thing.

I’ve also seen Davis Bertans name sometimes mentioned.  Can’t see that happening for real, but I’d hate it if it did.

Terrence Ross would be bad: a shooter that can't shoot.

Jae Crowder would be quite underwhelming, but I don't mind the player in general. At least he's a tough competitor.

I don't really want Duncan Robinson even though he's a great shooter. Big $ contract and defensive liability. I'd rather use our big TPE elsewhere and take a shot on Hauser being a viable shooting specialist.

Co-sign. Have zero interest in him. I get that Gallo shoots the 3 ball at 38%, but that’s about all he does well. His defense is poor, rebounding is mediocre, plus he’s going to be 34 in a little over a month. No Thank You.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Same. Gallo is probably top of my list.

6 million for a shooter off the bench is actually pretty cheap.

Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Does it have to be realistic? Because I would hate for Harden or Ben Simmons coming aboard in any way.

I would be okay with it if he didn't play the same position as G Will. Give me a 6-5 to 6-7 wing with quicker feet instead of a 6-10 Gallo.

Gallo just too old and slow. G Will too bulky and slow. For them not to get in each other's way. Too much diminished returns. Either/or type situation. Not worth losing the MLE over when you can find someone who better complements rather than contrasts G Will.
