It's against a 1-16 Rockets team. Let's see what they're really made of against Brooklyn.

But great for the win.

Team looks better when it is whole again.

Think Schroder and Smart have bonded and figured it out.

Whole team looks happy.

They all play like they know their roles too.

And this game, for the first time, it started feeling like the role players also started getting settled.

Really hope it's that. Hope it's Ime finding his way, getting things to click, getting all the cogs working smoothly together.

No Jabari sighting though. He’s really in Ime’s doghouse now.

Kanter is better.  I'm not really sure why Jabari is even on the roster at this point.  His deal is reportedly non-guaranteed; might as well cut him.

Just finished watching the recording of the game.  Always good to win and the Cs look sharp.  Payton has really lost it.  I hope he is not beyond repair.

Given all the angst directed towards Grant and Romeo in their second year last season, I think neither Pritchard nor Nesmith are beyond repair.

Romeo turning into a reliably good 3PT shooter gives me faith that anyone can do anything in this league

Yup…..he has really regressed ……as much as Grant has comeback from the brink of NBA exit.

NBA is some really heavy lifting , a lot of guys who shine in college or G league are just out classed or they are mental letdown from always being the best player to barely treading water.

You know they start to doubt themselves. …..a few like, Curry,  Jimmy Butler and IT rise to the top out of no where.   NBA is as much a mental test as physical.

For those saying the Celtics needed more and better outside shooting, it must be good to see +40% from three shooter, Jaylen Brown back and going 3-6 from deep.

It has to be hard for a 2nd year player that has no available role.  He is just to small to play next to Schroder.    He isn't shooting well enough to force a role.

He played great in Summer League but I think that broken nose set him back and there might not be any real playing time for him to work his way out of it.

I agree, he went from getting a heap of touches and minutes in the Summer League to injured and facing an uphill battle. Once the G-League season gets busy I'd like to see him get some serious run there. Worked for guys like Dinwiddie, Kendrick Nunn and more
