I had to do some googling to understand what is going on here.
McGregor started the CJ Watson references in January 2017.

Always makes me think if a prime Sabonis could've stopped one of the Lakers runs, we would've had some breathing room and Sabonis was that good. Well his son does have star potential and the Pacers apparently view him as a future star. Let's hope he can offer us a glimmer of prime Sabonis in the nba.

OK, so I’m going to give you a little insight on his haircut and how long and silly it is. In this last trip, we were rooming right next to each other. Our rooms are basically joined. We had an adjoining door, which we opened a couple of times to talk to each other, but yesterday he went to sleep for a little pregame nap.
I got up, and it was half an hour before we had to leave and I went to the bathroom. And as I was passing through the little corridor to get to my bathroom, I could hear all this noise in his room. I thought, ‘I hope he’s all right.’ He’s been away from his wife for a while. I hope he’s not sad and he’s not feeling upset or whatever. And I put my ear kind of next to the door to hear what it was, and it was the hairdryer going.
"So, I’ve never seen a man use a hairdryer before, and I knocked on the door to try and see a man use a hairdryer. So, he was in there. I don’t know what he was doing. I did see the day before that he had like seven different hair products and a little comb. And, obviously, now with the hairdryer, it’s pretty obvious how much he likes his hair. And I think if you watch him during the game, it doesn’t move. I don’t know how it’s possible, but it actually doesn’t move.

Auerbach and Chamberlain
I saw this very nice find posted by /u/WhenMachinesCry on reddit. (https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/6scquy/story_time_wilt_chamberlain_was_once_briefly/) It is an excerpt of a Sports Illustrated article from 1965. The author is Chamberlain himself, writing in first person.
That Red Auerbach. Now, isn't he too much? With that cigar and the look like he would snap you in half. I mean mean. But what a guy. I can remember the first time we met—and maybe you don't know this, but he was my coach at one time. It was back in 1953 and I was a high school freshman then. Maybe about ... oh, 6 feet 10 1/2 or so ... I had been playing a lot of basketball already against some pretty tough older players, and I thought I was pretty hot stuff. And Haskell Cohen, the public relations guy for the NBA—man, he was really looking into the future—had spotted me down at Overbrook High in Philadelphia. And he got me a summer job bell-hopping at Kutsher's resort up in the Catskills. It was a sort of breeding ground for future professionals. Haskell was looking beyond high school and college, I guess. So I turned up on the circuit carrying suitcases and waiting on tables and sort of standing around all bones and eyeballs and teeth. Every summer resort up there had its own basketball team made up of college kids who needed jobs for the summer. They worked a little and played a little. And who was the coach at Kutsher's? The man with the cigar.
Looking back on it. I think maybe it was my attitude that first touched off Auerbach. You know, I wasn't exactly the most modest kid in town, and I had a lot of moves for a high school freshie playing with the big boys. And when Red would call practice he would sort of talk to me in that voice that catches you right here, right between the ribs. He especially didn't like the way I played defense.
"Don't you think, Chamberlain," Red would growl, "that it might be sort of a good idea to defense your man from in from of him instead of behind him? What the hell are you doing back there?" But I went on defending the guys from behind, reaching around with my arms to get the ball, waiting to fall on them when they wheeled around to shoot.
"We are going to play Shawanga Lodge next." said Red, looking through me. "And you are going to have to defend B. H. Born. I think it's only fair to tell you, Chamberlain, that B. H. Born has just made All-America from the University of Kansas. And I think it's only fair to tell you that B. H. Born is going to make chopped chicken liver out of you." So we played Shawanga.
At the half-time break I had scored 30-some points and Born had scored exactly two. And I came ambling back into the dressing room and flopped myself down on the training table and folded my arms behind my head. I was whistling, you know, doe de doo de doo, and sort of looking side-wise at old Red while he looked back at me with a steely stare. Finally he grinned a little trace of a grin at me. "Now about the second half." he said. Then, "Now, Mr Chamberlain, may I please have your attention for a moment?" Suddenly we understood each other. Red and I. And I learned to play defense on both sides; I play it a lot in front now. After that. Red would let me serve him drinks and cigars in his room when he was up all night playing poker, and he later got me aside to talk about future schooling. "Why don't you go to Harvard. kid?" he said. "And then I'll be able to pick you off in the territorial draft for the Celtics."

Previously, he co-wrote a traditional novel about Mycroft Holmes as well. My wife bought it for me because she knows I like detective books and basketball. Which was very sweet even though what I normally read is more noir stuff (Hammet, Chandler, etc.) and the only basketball team I hate is the Lakers. But I can't fault her logic.
The book was fine. Not much of a mystery and Abdul-Jabbar is only a decent writer. But he's the only NBA player I know who wrote a novel so I give him a lot of credit there.

Man, that Blazers team was so much fun. One of my favourite teams of all time.
Sabonis (high post & low post passing) and Kenny Anderson (dribble penetration, PnRs, transition) were incredible together. The ball movement was beautiful. Sheed and Uncle Cliffy at forward. Size, defense, athleticism. Both had inside-outside games. Matchup nigthmares in the frontcourt with Sabonis. And Isaiah Rider as the crazy gunslinger capable of going off on anyone.
Cool squad. Well rounded team.
I wish they would've kept that team together. 1 year wasn't enough.

This singer is a nationalist and IMO divisive factor in the Croatian society and that's why I don't like him. That and also that he didn't pay a part of his taxes. Those proclaiming to be great patriots and do that, lose their cred in my book.
The Croatian diaspora (mainly in the USA, Germany, Australia, Canada) and numerous native Croats adore Thompson, as he represents the true "Croatian ship" (whatever that would mean) and Bogut would fit that mold. Me, personally, being musically proficient, I don't hear anything musically and artistically interesting in it, just blabbing of some political messages, sang by a raspy voice.

without offense, I never understood why people who don't have knowledge in a subject input their opinion. I think it's bad because it spreads misinformation and conspiracy theories and builds irrational fears of planes. That is a common dent. The front is soft composite materials. The plane could fly with its nose cone completely off
I keep seeing people thinking the plane was in complete danger because of this dent. That isn't rational. Asking bill nye about a dent in a plane is silly too

I went to one game last season in the Garden. It was against Charlotte. We had great seats and I'll never forget seeing, up close, Semi had to switch onto Dwight Howard in the post. Dwight tried to muscle for position. Nothing. He caught the ball and tried to back his way into the basket. Nothing. Dwight Howard couldn't move Semi. Not an inch. Semi wouldn't budge.

So of the 4 conference finals team Boston lost more player games to injury of the four teams by a pretty wide margin. Gotta love the resiliency of last year's team.

To be fair, Asik got arthritis. Having said this, I agree- the Bulls would still suck even if they had a fully healthy team.
This is a graph of the total games lost to injuries, not of the impact the injuries had on any team.
