Update:  tech support is working on getting avatars uploaded as we speak.  Whatever posts from last night were lost probably won't be recovered, but the forums should be fine from here on out.

You can't use a pic from your own files, (at least for now), but you can use one from online, or if you want to use a pic from your own files, (like I did), just upload and save it to an external/hosting site like Photobucket, Picasa, etc., and then just copy and paste the URL to "I have my own pic" on your "Modify Profile" page. Hope that helps.

What avatar did you have? Was it the one I made for you ages ago? Or a different one? (asking because I still have the old one and can fix it for ya.)

Strange ... they must've changed something? Maybe too large? Maybe try resizing to 80x80 and 20KB (max)?

When you say it "doesn't work", what do you mean?  Is it the forums, the front page, or both?

Hmm will have to check once I fire up my PC again on the actual blog, but it's the forums that just hangs and never loads says server isn't responding
