Last year, our big spark was Avery Bradley. Hopefully that's the case this year, as well.
Apparently, Avery Bradley has such energy and passion on defense he alone can spark the rest of the team to play aggressively also.
That is crazy to think about. On one hand, it really speaks to the special defensive talent Avery has. It doesn't really speak too well about some of the other guys, though. Really, you need a 3rd year player to spark you? Ugh.
It does also seem the guard rotation "fits" much better now as well. Dude really is a "glue" guy.
We do still need a C to either start next to, or back-up, KG (if for nothing else, to get the rotation right). I'd like to see Bass moved, which is kind of funny. I've come back full circle to my original position this summer. The team can probably contend, but needs one more solid big who is 6'10"-7'.
Avery Bradley really is special.
