Good. It’s gonna be great when we go against the 76ers and we beat them. Their only player left is average al lol

  • GOT IT!!!
At this point I’d rather take my chances on playing a broken Philly team than the potential of a Oladipo or Butler getting hot.

I don't hope for Embiid and Simmons to be hurt, but I really want the C's to beat Al.  He didn't need to jump ship -- and the C's would be even more interesting right now if he had stayed.

It would be sweet.

Not a good sign for Philly with a guy as big as Embiid suffering an injury like that

From the video it doesn't even look like he twisted it or stepped on anyone's foot or anything. That's even more worrisome

Yeah, no idea what he's done. Always think the worst with his history

Had Horford stayed, we wouldn't have had enough cap space to sign Kemba.

They were working on a way to keep both, but not at the money Phili threw at Al

Yeah.  I wasn't bitter about Horford even though I really liked him.  Seemed it was best for both parties.

If the Sixers didnt tamper and give him the offer early he may have stayed

My comment was based on the premise that both could have been here.

Highly doubt it. I mean, we had to dump Baynes in order to create enough cap space for Kemba. No way we could have had both Kemba and Horford.

Personally speaking, I have nothing against Horford. At the end of the day, the Sixers made him a better offer. If the C's were willing to offer Horford a 4th year, I bet he would have stayed in Boston.

From my perspective, I like Horford, but we dodged two big bullets with him and Kyrie walking. Horford was declining last year. This year he's a shell of himself, and what we needed him the most for, his defensive ability, is what is suffering the most. Paying him anywhere near that money for 4 years would have been a disaster.

Theis has really stepped in and done a great job, better than I could have expected. We also have space for Rob Williams to develop faster and contribute. I'm very happy with our big men this season.
