Brutal loss

That loss is on Smart. Total bonehead play after grabbing the offensive rebound. Should have pull it back out. Cost them the game.

Definitely should've pulled it back out. But that hardly cost them the game right there. Him going 2-16, Brown having 4 TOs and us having 14 TOs overall, and poor rotation decisions/coaching and overall defensive awareness cost us the game.
Yes, in the grand scheme of things, yes you are right. But that play legit capped it off. He grabbed the rebound and there was 14 seconds left in the game and you were up one. Kick it out, and make them foul. It was just poor awareness.

Truth is, they haven’t played great the last three games so it’s felt like a loss has been coming. Maybe now they can regroup and refocus that the winning streak is over.

Smart is not a good shooter. He is pretty good on catch-and-shoot 3s, but otherwise, no. And yet here we are at the end of a close loss, and Smart took more shots than any other player. Tatum had gotten hot, Kemba is our best player, and Smart keeps taking shots.

Between getting owned by Hield and missing shot after shot, Smart was horrible today. Brad has got to put the brakes on him when he plays like he was today. Especially big loss when you consider the 3 games coming up. Would not be surprising at all to see them fall into a 4 game losing streak.

Lol. Here we go. 10-2 and people are still going to ****.

You can't win every game.

Throwing away a game is throwing away a game no matter what your record is, and we just lost to a bad team playing without its best player.
1. they are not a bad team.
2. celtics were missing hayward.
3. heild was just unconscious at the end. he was making incredible shots.

sometimes things like this happen. on to the next game.

Tough one.  Hope C's aren't looking at a 3-game loser with Suns tomorrow and Clips Wednesday.  Hope they can pull out at least one to go home 2-2.    Every close one is a learning experience.

Marcus Smart has been a HUGE cog in our winning streak and our success this year.

Don't mind him taking that shot.

Odds are he will either make a shot OR make a huge defensive play for us.

No worries here...no need to fire Stevens or trade the team.

On to PHX!!

Buddy Hield us of our winning streak by going off for 35 points.

Smart missed a shot at the buzzer, but it was close.

Refs seemed to favor SAC.

Guys like Hield always seem to torch us. Shame Smart took so many shots - not his role.

Yeah but in credit to Smart he has been hot lately...I firmly believed it was going in.

His play this season has been HUGE for us so I'm not blaming him.

He has been hot recently, but him taking 16 shots is inexcusable. He should quite literally never be our FGA leader, even if it is tied with someone else.

Not his role at all
