So far, perhaps a little underwhelming, but the new generation of consoles should be awesome regardless.

Yeah, this presentation has been a lot more game-oriented.

A new franchise called "Ryse: Son of Rome" looks pretty awesome, and Dead Rising 3 looks sweet, too.

$499 price tag.

I still hate the "no borrowing" system but I might still buy one for the exclusives. I forgot we have tv here, saw Titanfall and it looks sick.

Don't know how many gamers are here within tha CB Community but tha Next Generation Console - Xbox One will be released this year in November for $499. Tha price tag is a bill higher than tha 360 on it's launch date but I think it's worth it. Xbox One has 15 exclusive titles, 8 of them being new franchises. Today they showcased some of tha exclusive titles. Hiller Instinct, Halo, Deadrising 3, Battlefield 4, Metal Gear Solid 5, Quantum Break, Titanfall, and Ryse: Son of Rome (just to name a few). E3 has started today and Microsoft held a briefing conference earlier today strictly toward gaming which so far - in my opinion has Xbox One ahead of PS4.

Sony will hold their own conference today as well to showcase their new PS4 system and EA's conference can be seen now on Spike if anyone here cares. Microsoft didn't address tha "controversy" surrounding used games, trading, and always-on but here's an article with Microsoft's Phil Harrison on this topic. http://www.wired.com/gamelife/2013/05/phil-harrison-xbox-one/

I'm looking forward to tha Next Gen Consoles. I'm not sure how long this thread will live but for those that are watching E3 right now - what are some of your thoughts on what's been showcased so far and what are you looking forward to with these new gen consoles?

ryse looked really good to me too. very excited to see Sony show tonight. not sure about the plant v zombie game, I'll have to see more. its looking like I'm going to have to think about buying both consoles this time around. also, how do you guys feel about Microsoft buying early rights to dlc?

Saw the new engine for sports games of EA. Looks pretty compare to before. Need For Speed Rivals didn't impress me as much.

But with all that, Battlefield 4! I almost drooled.

I liked Battlefield 4 and Plants vs Zombies from tha EA conference. NBA Live 14 is coming back but tha players still look stretched out and between Forza and NFS, Forza looks like tha better racing game.

NFS looked super arcade-ish to me, I do like Forza.

Yeah.  It's a lame repeat of Xbox's last press conference.
