Horrible Horford, Cowardly Crowder

Horford has been horrific, bad defense , slow to catch up on pick and roll

Body language is bad, no effort

He's got favorable match ups but throwing up running jumpers or weak fade ways. He looks terrible and is as valuable as I thought he would be.

Crowder looks even worse. He hasnt dribbled once inside the 3 point line yet. He's basically now a terrible spot up shooter. His defense also subpar.

These 2 scrubs have been a huge problem why the Celtics are not closer or even winning in this half.

Horford is playing too much like a guard.  Crowder has lost his defensive mojo and has been relagated to a subpar spot up 3 point shooter.

just a small suggestion, but if you wish to have your thoughts taken with respect and seriousness by other posters, it might be best not to classify horford as a "scrub." believe me, it does not strengthen your points.

Stevens loves to spread the floor and spacing.  It's bleh right now.  KO and Zeller are even worse.

I agree Horford is getting beaten because we have him playing too much all over the place right now.

He's versatile and giving the all around game and some toughness in there.  The issue is more we have no one around him.

It also wouldn't hurt if he was giving more toughness and less the all around game.

Crowder to me is better served as a defensive specialist.  If he can't be that get someone else.  We need a better scoring wing and better big guys.

The system is that so we have shooters and hustle bigs who are mobile and can create havoc, but we don't have those pieces right now.

Crowder played well above expectations last year. We are seeing who he really is this year which is a 7th or 8th guy on a contender. Not a starting 3.

You are right though.  Unless things change we are a 2nd round exit at best.

End of half analysis.

Horford got toasted a couple times by Gasol. Horford does not look confident in his job. Had a nice pass to Bradley.

Crowder got on the board. And 1 on a mismatch. But missed his next attempt.

Bradley looks good, but man he's got nothing outside of his jumper. And his defense was suspect , not on ball but getting back to his man and making a contested attempt. Laziness.

Ilynyk is soft, but I knew this. His play wasn't horrible but just so annoying to watch. He doesn't belong on the floor at all at times.

Zeller has lost all confidence.

Smart didn't look bad but looked invisible at times then when he got shots , threw up two 3 point misses.

Rozier looks like a good one on one player and is very agressive Going to the basket or getting himself open, but he does get lost on defense, but not as much as people say he does. He's trying but just gets lost for a split second but still tries to contest.

Oh and with brown , just not enough.to say much, which is evident by this post because I forgot to mentu on him. He looks like he just gets in and then out pretty quickly.

Nobody has smarts back lol, misses on a drive everybody quits and gasoline gets an assist to Kawaii for the easy dunk.
