I'll take it...losing to the spurs doesnt even hurt...I have alot of respect for them...this is sending a message to danny, if hes watching, he better know this team isnt good enough..
but they arent good enough for anyone else to want them either, thats the problem

  • Let's Go Celtics
We're not far off in these games.  We actually should've won both of them.  If we play these games in June they could go either way.

That being said we definitely need something coming off the bench.  It is simply not good enough and we are not as deep as the Cavs, Lakers, or Spurs.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

I disagree that SA is deep, they just execute better.

Deffinetly more then he is now, what is he waiting for the playoffs so he can be nice and out of shape and have no chemistry on the floor? he needs to either play or get off the roster..we need another ballhandler.

I like that Doc has been preaching consistency this season because that is one of their biggest problems now that they can solve. When they play well for 4 quarters they're tough to beat but this season they cannot seem to string together some great games in a row especially on the defensive end. Turnovers were relatively low today but the defense was suspect. Some days the bench plays well. Some days the ball movement is great. Some days they come out flat. Consistency will help them to get the best record and in the playoffs.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Blame the game on the bench all you want but all Ray had to do was inbound the [dang] ball and we had a chance for a tie or lead.

Games aren't decided by 1 play.

This one was, its silly to look back at who played bad and blame it on that when you had a 3 point lead with one minute left. We overcame the bench's bad play and should have won this game. Our starters blew the 3 point lead and Ray's inbound led to 4 free points for SA in a 2 point game.

That was a missed opportunity, but not what cost us the game. We were down two, and there was no guarantee we'd make a shot. We played poor defense the entire game, and our bench didn't produce. The lack of points, combined with the bad defense eventually did us in. This is the same weak defense we played against the Lakers, and Cavs earlier.

2 games at home boston has struggled to execute a last second play. in additon over the last 8 games the defense is starting to slip again....last sunday vs the wolves on through to today....when boston doesn't defend for a full 4 quarters they lose
