Whoever you think I might cut, is available for a 2nd rounder =).
Additionally, Jackalopes have a lot of useful point guards and would be open to a win-win with a team loaded at a different position.
Point guards:
Jeremy Lin
It's gonna be a big fantasy year for Linsanity. He's playing with the corpse of Steve Nash, Wesley Johnson, Wayne Ellington and Kobe with a minutes limit in the guard rotation. He's been right around 15-6-3-2 per 30 minutes for a while now in much more crowded situations, and should be a 30+ fantasy player this year (which he was before dipping to 25 in Houston's messy rotation last year)
Tony Wroten
18-5-5 as a starter, MCW had shoulder surgery and is reportedly on the block in Philly. He's gonna get a lot of burn and is amazingly still only 21 years old for most of this season.
Tyler Ennis
Ennis would have gone top-10 in a lot of drafts but fell victim to an incredible PG draft with Smart, Payton and Exum in the mix. His main shortcoming right now is size and defense, but after a year of seasoning he's destined to be a starting point guard who can shoot, pass and rack up steals with low turnovers. Had more steals than turnovers as a freshman point guard (!).
Dennis Schroder
Another young prospect, Schroder looks like he'll get the nod as the backup PG in Atlanta, and could see serious minutes with Lou Williams out of the picture. Dropped 30 in summer league and had a nice preseason (29 points in 60 minutes with 18 FGA and 17 FTA, showing his quickness to get to the hoop).
Shelvin Mack
Will likely see time at both guard positions in Atlanta depending on how things shake up; a less heralded prospect out of Butler with respectable numbers (8 and 4 in 20 minutes). Has the upside to be more like a 14-7-3 guy with higher usage and an uptick in 3PT% on the right team. Has a nice outside stroke that should be more in the 35-40% range with more consistency.
Ricky Rubio
Controversial as any guard in the game, he'll be getting even more opportunities with Kevin Love gone (who has a usage rate of 28% versus 18% for Rubio). Just a few more touches would put him in the 12-10-4 range with league leading steals. A top-50 player in a points league (actual rank in total points last year: 35), he has top-25 potential this year.
