with all the firings in the nba these days, and it isnt even january yet.....do people think thibs' days are numbered in boston as an assistant?

i was both surprised and thankful he came back to us this season, but am not optimistic he will be here next year.  i wouldnt fault him a bit to want a head coaching job elsewhere, even tho it would suck for the c's

I certainly hope not.

I would think that he would be as good as gone, but then again, I thought that was a lock last offseason.  Lets keep our fingers crossed, it worked last time.  :)

I'm not sure Thibs has the personality to be a head coach. I think his job here is much more secure and rewarding than if he goes to another team and works for a dysfunctional management.
The only advantage would be to do it, get fired, take the dough, and go play golf. But I don't know if Thibs plays golf and if he did Danny would probably have all his money by now so he needs the security of the job he currently holds.
