I switch is something you can control. The Celtics cannot control the way they play. They just aren’t good enough to have a “switch”.

Bad habits die hard.

The Celtics are who they are.  The playoffs haven't changed that.

You can flip the switch all you want but that does not mean you can beat the team with another star.

Nope.  Playing a clearly inferior and overmatched opponent, yet are very lucky to be not be down 3 games instead of up 3 games.  They play like this against Milwaukee they will get swept.
whelp we got to see 1 game of great basketball at least, though the general sentiment displayed after game 3 of Indiana was correct.  Boston just hasn't played well for the vast majority of the season, including most of the playoff games.

At the end of the day, Boston just doesn't have the talent at the top to really compete with the great teams in this league.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

9 for 41  3s. No Baynes. That tells the story. No inside game or defense.  This is not a balanced team.

It’s like when you have a really annoying little brother, and he’s flipping the switch up and down up and down up and down.

so it appears Boston game 1 did flip a switch, it was just in Milwaukee.  They woke up after that game.
