And we come out shooting two quick threes on one possession. Lovely.

EDIT: Five straight threes out of the half, only making one. Just chucking. Why are the main guys playing at this point?

I didn’t care about the game against the Bucks - we were sitting KP and Al and you could tell we were just not in the mood.

But we are getting absolutely cooked in this one with our full line-up. I get that it doesn’t matter, but it’s not a good look. This team is starting to look a little arrogant - hopefully they can turn it back on when the playoffs start

It was their shortcoming last playoffs when they got a little arrogant.

I'm trying to think off the top of my head what coach besides Mazzulla would be playing their top players in a game like this. Not one comes up

I mean, it's a national tv game, so they couldn't just rest everyone per the rules. That's the biggest issue.

But still. If you're going to be out there, just play hard. This is just an embarrassing effort.

I guess on the flip side if someone got injured playing hard we would be slitting wrists castigating them for playing hard, hustling for rebounds in a meaningless game so close to the playoffs. This is where it’s probably best to just get them off and put the bench on unless they really just want to treat this as a low intensity live practice and practice shooting 3s with desperate opponents defending them

Pointless to play your guys when they have no desire to be out there.

Get these next 2 games over with. Let the fans play.

Let the fans play is actually a great idea. Fan has to make a lay-up, foul shot and 3-pointer in 30 seconds. But instead of getting tickets on JetBlue, they get to play the entire fourth quarter. Really, how much worse could they do?

Chuck and Shaq and Kenny not all that worried about the Cs…while on NBC sports Boston Eddie House is livid…you can tell Eddie bleeds green

Eddie is a warrior !!

Though Barkley did express concern over the carryover of playing the last week like this.
Also, playing half-ass can sometimes make you more susceptible to injury.

I'd feel better about this if our starters weren't playing. But it's such a weird idea, yeah lets play our guys but they clearly aren't even trying and are just out there doing cardio and playing not to get hurt. What is this?!?

This transition defense is putrid. Just don't understand why the starters are still in 2/3 of the way through the third when we're clearly not even trying out there. Just risking injury further and embarrassing ourselves in the process.

We've met our obligations to play the stars for the national tv game. Sit them on the bench before someone twists an ankle.

Feels like all my worst nightmares are coming to fruition…playing terrible basketball headed into the playoffs and more than likely playing Miami in the first round

Didn't realize how many floppers there were on this NYK team. Good grief. That'd be such an annoying series.

I dunno, Brunson’s charge taking game seems really weak. Like they don’t seem to be in the spirit of the game..

And Brown just royally sucks in general.

Celts are playing harder now - they cannot get a bounce their way.

I wonder if anyone will be honest enough in the Post game interview to say “we didn’t give a @#$& about the game, we’re treated it like a live practice to run sets and just didn’t want to get injured”. Anyone who was brave enough to say that would definitely deserve a Tommy Point
