tried to find something funny in these dark times that we hadn't watched yet.  saw The Hustle which looked pretty bad in the previews and was even worse when watching it.  couldn't even take it for an hour.

Want funny? Try The Kominsky Method on Netflix. Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin. Really funny stuff straight from the first episode with a part that pays tribute to Abbott and Costello's Who's on First? bit.

just watched What Men Want.  had low expectations but a little better than expected.  probably helped that I have a thing for Taraji.

Saw that one and I thought it was pretty awful. Not bad as a 'background' movie but sad to see the main actress (forgot her name) stooping so low with overacting and just being bad. There were a few funny bits so as I said, not a bad movie while doing other things.

That movie The Lighthouse probably hits a whole lot different now haha. Don't watch if you're inclined to isolation anxiety.

I have been wanting to watch that again since I've now actually been to Bruges. The town seems a whole lot less exciting in person than it does in the movie (it's a storybook town, though).

Would love a good funny movie - this seems like a good option!

terrific series.  they covered all 3 books.  not sure if they'll bring it back and go into uncharted territory with the characters

I’m only halfway through season one, but so far this is one of the best King adaptions I’ve seen.  I like it better than the book, which is a rarity, particularly with King.

They made it into a series on Direct TV, but you can download it on Amazon for less than $10 per season.  Be warned, though:  there are intense scenes.

Frozen 2 is the only film allowed to be played in my home right now.  Luckily it’s actually really useful for helping to explain what’s going on in the world to a 3 year-old.

just watched the first episode.  didn't find it particularly funny.  was ok.

got desperate.  watched Detective Pikachu.  never understood the Pokemon phenomenon.  even Ryan Reynolds couldn't stop me from turning this off after 20 minutes.

Just saw Knives Out last night. Pretty good movie.

Gary Tanguay was in it (this could have already been mentioned but I haven't read every post on here). He was in Gone Baby Gone as well, I do believe. I guess he's taking over for Dennis and/or Callahan.

just finished Spiderman: Far From Home.   on the whole, an ok movie.  as a Spiderman fan and fan of Marvel movies in general, I was disappointed.  I really don't like the direction they've taken this character.  He's not Iron Man nor should he be remade to take his place.
