Since Game 6 in the Raptors series, Walker has averaged 12.7 points per game on 28.3 percent shooting. Dating back to Game 4 of that series, he has made just five of his last 34 3-point attempts. That’s 14.7 percent. He has not made more than a single 3-pointer in any of his past five games.

that is ugly !!!

Brown was not involved in this game ...lets hope it was not a deliberate move because of his injury?
Yes my thoughts exactly
Celtics need to get Jaylen Brown more involved if they want to best Miami Heat in this series

The Heat were blitzing Brown with two defenders every time he caught the ball. He never had a chance to get anything going. They didn't do that with Tatum though. It was an interesting and effective strategy.

I'm wondering if his knee is bothering him? He's looked awful and not just his shooting.
Even on that late drive, it looked like he could have gone straight up, but he up faked and got stuffed for a 24 second violation.

He's not looking right.

Might be, but then again, he's still pulling out pretty acrobatic moves (like the step-back jumper on Herro). It seems as if his confidence is shot as much as anything, not too sure. He needs to turn it around if we're any hope

You guys have hit on all the points.

I am weirdly optimistic though. I honestly thought Toronto were better than us and was anxious every game. I think we're better than the Heat and will prove it. I hope.

When a team spots you a 12 point lead going into the 4th, you have to hang on. We can complain about the whistles, but that's not why we lost. Every game seems to be a slog for this Cs team and we just can't close the deal. I don't think we can count on MIA giving up 12 points in like the last 2 minutes of the 3rd again.

And, it sounds like a broken record by now, but Kemba has to be better. He was an all-star starter - it is simply unacceptable at this point. Also, let's really hope Hayward can come back for next game. He is reportedly going hard in practice - he doesn't need to be perfect - but he needs to be there. This is the Conference Finals - what are we saving him for? Give the Heat someone else to game plan for.

That’s what happens when you don’t have a bench and you have to play your starters 43 minutes.

So after game 1..... Tatum is a scrub, Kemba is a scrub, Stevens is a bad coach and the Celtics will get swept. Totally not hot takes.  ;D

More plays run for Jaylen and Jayson, less plays run for Kemba

I'd be up for more plays of any kind. I can't believe the team ran the last 10 minutes without any actions of any kind. Just Tatum, Walker, and occasionally Smart going iso every trip. No actions, no downhill pick and rolls, no cuts, no ball movement. It was awful. That can't be the plan for the team's offense.

I blame the coach, said it during the game as well.  He's a good coach but won't bring a championship this year.

Maybe the Raptors' box and 1 system they utilized really got to him and cooled off his deep ball.

Kemba really needs to work out hard today or they need to rush Hayward back asap.

Makes sense but on the other side you need to get Kemba going somehow.
