Way too many guys (especially Kemba) seem to just choose when  to show up and when not to during games. How about a 48-minute effort guys??
Agreed only Smart and Tatum seem engaged on both sides most the game. Kemba gets hung up on every screen, with absolutely no fight. Brown seems to zone out and miss layups. Theis gets no opportunities and in turn forgets how to set screens.

Bad loss, but we didn't play bad overall... I think we have a pretty good matchup man to man, and we should accept if someone scores on a celtic player, once we go to help someone who has been beaten we give up many open threes, especially crowder, who shot wide open a bunch of times... Nothing it's over. we can win this, but now I'm really sad because we are down 1-0 but we could easily be up by one... On to the next one this will be hard once again ...

We'll be FINE, people.

MIA is in the ECF for a reason.

Get Game 2, extend the series and buy time for The Haymaker.

We're going to need him back.
Let's hope the Celtics are around long enough for GH to come back.

Terrible loss. Legit gave away that game. This loss is 100% on Stevens. The offense in the last 3 mins of that game and overtime was atrocious hero ball. Just Kemba and JT iso. Brown was just standing in the corner. Just awful awful way to lose.

I kind of wonder if this is what Stevens wants us to do down the stretch or if these are just the shots that Tatum and Kemba choose to take with the game on the line.  If this is what the coach wants, then it's very odd to me that he goes completely away from his egalitarian offensive system with the game on the line.

I'm leaning towards tonight being on the players trying to go into hero mode.

Jayson Tatum made a shot with 7:29 to go in the game. From then on...

Turnover
Miss
Miss
Hits free throw on dead ball foul drawn by smart
Miss
Hits two free throws
Miss
Miss
Fouls jimmy on and-1
Miss (last second miracle attempt)

Exaxctly...blame kemba or whoever else bit jayson lost this game despite his good first half...period

Yeah definitely could've used more offensive diversity

That’s where I think Gordon will help us a lot when he returns. He creates a lot of good looks for people so we don’t have to rely on iso to score

But which Hayward are we gonna get?

Yup. That's what KPerk was saying on SportsBoston TV.

Smart kept us in the game for long stretches while Jaylen and Kemba were struggling to hit anything. Once we got ahead we stopped doing what was working for us and began walking the ball up slowly.

Gotta tip your hat to Miami. Not only are they good, but they are relentless and clutch. Not sure how we are going to win this series. They look legit.

Yep...ill be stunned at this point if thee celtics win this series...heat better

Lol we're down a 17 ppg starter, controlled almost the entire game, had a terrible whistle in the 4th and OT, and it still took them a heroic three point play and terrific block to beat us in OT, yet you think the Heat are better and you'll be stunned if the Celtics win at this point in the series after losing Game 1?
