  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
arg Avery take the THREE, no long two point jumpshots ffs!
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

There are an embarrassing amount of empty seats at this game

Per usual in Miami.

Whiteside rushes his post moves. Panics.

The Heat really hustle for a team of past their prime geezers

I'm getting to the point of thinking every shot of Avery's is going in now. It looks very smooth anymore.

I like Jerebko defending Bosh. His quickness defensively can cause Bosh problems.

We look so good this game which is great, but it's more just proof that we play to our opponent.  How does this team blow out the Nets then lose to them, then get blown out by the Magic and go up 10 on the Heat in the 1st qtr?  Come on guys, your coach is Brad Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.n Stevens, act like it

That is one ugly hook shot from IT, but it somehow works lol At least it works a hell of a lot better than his dang one-legged shot that he keeps trying to make work.

Both Deng and Stoudemire have been ruled out for this game.  Bosh also missed the shoot around with the illness that has been going through the team and is listed as a game time decision.

Just saw this on the wire. You get a TP for being the first to post (that good news) in this thread.
(little role reversal there, huh?  ;))

Now let's take advantage of the break we've been given!!!

Stoudemire isn't part of the rotation (deep bench warmer) and Deng is cooked.

Looks like this might be one of those games where the Celtics remember how to perform on offense.

AB didn't get one steal, but that flurry of steals and interruption to the Heat's offense was because he hounded his man. He made them make the mistake that lead to the steal.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Per usual in Miami.

I hate making excuses, but I think that really affected Boston in Brooklyn, Atlanta, and especially Orlando.  Playing against empty seats when they play against sell outs at home.

Definitely a reach for an excuse there.

I'm getting to the point of thinking every shot of Avery's is going in now. It looks very smooth anymore.

I feel this way too.   I also feel very strongly that he is good enought to be given the opportunity to shoot through his cold spells rather than cutting him off or sending him to the bench.  I see it on these pages whenever he goes cold -- "stop shooting Avery"  "sit him down Brad" -- but I think if he is to become a consistent force offensively, he needs to shoot through those times.   He may be good enough to be one of those players -- but volume shooting sometimes results in poor %.     Let him loose!
