@BleacherReport
Pelicans are still not interested in trading AD to the Lakers, even after LA landed the No. 4 pick, per
@WindhorstESPN

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
You would think the last thing Winhorst would report is the feigned interest of NOP. Considering hes Lebron's lapdog, that must have hurt him to type it.

Oof.

At least some good news today! They will never forgive them for this past year it appears. The Lakers really did have foot in mouth disease as they ruined the NO season with their attempted coup of Davis.

Bet NO will get some insane offers though.

Maybe the Lakers can find another Ball this draft and pass on a Tatum!

I dont blame them.

The lakers offer is garbage...and they would be trading davis in the conference.

It's an easy call to make regardless of holding a grudge.

Ingram was the best asset and now he's borderline untradable.

The #4 pick maybe the 2nd best asset and it's a 2 player draft, 3 at most.

Ball is probably the 3rd best asset and he flatly refused to play in NO.

Kuzma, while a great 4th asset, is extremely overrated.

Hart is not even a consideration in a deal for an MVP-caliber player, he's not even a blip on the radar.

Tatum + Memphis alone beats LA's entire offer unless Ingram fully recovers and Ball says he'll play there.

I have the feeling they have a contingent deal with the knicks.
Once Durant and Kyrie sign there and they resign DJ they can trade their 3 young players plus sign and trade of the 3rd pick for Davis... they just have to agree on who the 3 rd pick would be..
Knicks have the Dallas picks to throw in if there is a bidding war.

Tatum, Smart, Memphis & 3 firsts probably beats that, and if you swap out Smart for Brown we definitely beat that.

I don't see how they can have any contingent deal at this point unless it's with us.  We can offer the most.

Do you realistically see Danny offering all that?
Unless we are thanking in 2021 I don’t see this happening

I do, it's easy to say you don't want to do business with the lakers when all they have is garbage.

No, I don't see him dealing both Brown and Tatum.  But I think NO would be dumb to take any NYK offer over Tatum, Memphis pick, Smart, Sacto pick and either RW3 or another 1st.  RJ Barrett and Knox < Tatum & Memphis.

I honestly don't get the Knox interest, he wasn't good at all. His "upside" is a starter to me.

This particular report might not have merit, but it was very clear the Pels had no interest in dealing with the Lakers at the deadline; I don't know why that would have changed. I get that they now have the #4 pick, but the best asset coming back (Ingram) now has a future that is totally up in the air. Those things are a wash, at best.
