Fringe NBA players aren't our salvation. The sad truth is that Bass is a better player than both of them.

Sure doesn't look like it.
But its true. Bass is a nba rotation level player, Randolph/White couldn't even get a minimum contract at the start of the season.

The way Bass has been playing, he would not get a minimum contract either if he was a free agent.

If they're both worse than Bass, so be it but maybe their specific skills will be better for this team.  Another thing, how about holding Bass accountable for his horrible play.  Maybe it will light a fire under him and make him play better.

Seriously though, why don't we fight small with big?
Because our bigs are not good enough to force them away (or punish) their small ball lineups.
And they'll pick us apart defensively with little to no gain on the boards or down low offensively.

Why do Danny and Doc continue to watch this team lose games bc of rebounding and second chance points and do nothing to solve it.  ???

Because quality bigmen who can rebound and defend are a very expensive luxury that are hard to find.

You're acting like they are purposefully ignoring it or don't see it.  Sorry, Dwight Howards don't grow on trees.

He can at least TRY to get his money's worth with ONE of these big men we have sitting on the bench lol
Are you really so naive to think you know better than Doc and Ainge- the two paid professionals who get millions of dollars to evaluate and coach basketball players?

If Doc thought they'd be anything better than massive liabilities they'd be playing.  Crawford started playing immediately because Doc didn't think he'd be a massive liability and would help the team.

Having a 7 footer who is slower than molasses and is awful is NOT better than a guy who is 6'8 and mediocre.

Gotta get this to single digits quickly to have a chance at a comeback.

It's going to be tough to get stops against this Knicks team. Need to catch fire offensively.

No, we need Nicky Beef. And pray he's 7 feet tall at least.

Avery Bradley has been awful.

Jason Kidd and Pargioni have been beating him off the dribble and he hasn't been able to hit anything.

This isn't true. Bass is shooting around the same percentage as last year, rebounding the same, and overall playing a similar level of defense.

He's not shooting as much though, and that's a problem he has to provide scoring with his skillset.

Layup city, Doc.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Bass is re-entering the game.  It's over, if it wasn't already.
