Okay, just going to get the jump on this, but anyone starting to second guess going after Troy Murphy instead of Leon Powe?

OJ Mayo is a pathetic defender at the two spot.

I'd love to see him at the point guard position for an extended period. Say training camp and the first two months of the season. Just to see if he can pan out there as a serviceable defender ... allowing him to be a starting quality player.

The Lakers have Bynum as their 5 and Odom as their 6th man.

We have a great starting 4, Glen Davis and D.W. But we need good big men. Murphy is starting to play a little better, but that traveling turnover was awful. Looks like he's still in the game though.

Lol. We need the O'neal brothers.

Krstic/Murphy frontline has to be the worst in the nba.

I thought Sam Young did a real nice job for Memphis in the first quarter. Gave them a lift.

Sam Young is a very underrated guy I think.  Very solid.

Meanwhile, this is like the 4th game in a row we've come out completely flat.  We're really coasting right now.

No, even though Troy looks to be sitting on the bench more in the playoffs... just like Finley last season. More questions and risk with Powes knees.

Boston Celtics: the team that makes journeymen look great (see: Gaines, Sundiata; Young, Sam).
