How did Ralph Samsons finger taste, or was it his thumb? Seriously though, that kind of characterizes Danny Ainge. He was always a scrapper and still is. The guy is a phenominal athlete, one of the best all around ones ever. I think that is part of the reason he is able to spot talent so well.

Do you remember that autograph signing you did in about 1986 at the Kingston strip mall? I stood in the longest line of all time to get your autograph, and had it till this year, when my wife threw it out in the move. I know I should divorce her, but I didn't. I would THANK HIM  for bringing back the winning......  and tell him I enjoyed watching him play back in the '80's.

I had the opportunity to "interview" (send questions through a mediator) Ainge once and got back the most boring, short, non-instructive answers you could imagine

I was also on a call with him around media day and asked him point blank about the Sheed situation and the answer I got was something along the lines of "you'll find out very soon"

I'm sure he has a better relationship with the beat guys that he knows/trusts but he's pretty untrusting of bloggers I think - which is funny because his staff all seems to read CelticsBlog daily

so perhaps the better phrasing of this question that has been re-worded 3 times already is...

"if you had Ainge under oath with truth serum and perhaps a cocktail, what would you ask him about?"

but somehow I think he'd still dodge your question

Well, you also have to wonder if he's taking a page out of Bill Belichick's handbook, and simply being cryptic, vague, or non-responsive with everyone. 

As much as I'd like him to shoot straight with everyone, it probably isn't in the best interest of the team.
