There's some alternative reality where the Celtics big three of Randle, Bender, & Fultz are currently leading a dynasty.

Haha.  I like the multiverse where, with just a little luck or different decision making, we have Tatum / Mikal Bridges / Brown / Haliburton.
Ouch. That would have been special

Randle is like BiG Al Jefferson ,  he ll make too much money and always be on a 3-6 seed team . He is good player that will help take a team to the playoffs but not to finals .

Marcus is asset player to go along with the Tatum and Brown level players . He needs to remember what he does best , he’s their defensive and play maker dude.  Way down the scorer option .

Randle is a Hornets or Pacers type player , get you to playoffs but not much further,  he makes to much and must have the ball to much to get better max contract guys .

Smart was the better choice , while your looking for Tatum to come along .  Randle is not a player to build around IMO . He isn’t Embiid.

But Randle as the third option on a championship team? You don't think that would work Shaq? He doesn’t need to be the man, just play his role.

And the Celtics could really use a reliable #3 option. Randle can also pass very well, and he shoots threes better than marcus

Smart is carreer 32% 3 point shooter that takes 5.4 3s a game. He's terrible.

No, he does not have the mentality to do so. His ego is too big

That's my thought.  If we drafted Randle, the team would look completely different.  Either Randle would be gone, or JB would be.

Yep, in this alternative universe I think we trade Randle once we realise Tatum and Brown are legit #1 and #2 options.

I do wonder if we sign Horford though, or go a different route

Randle might even be the #2 option of Tatum, Randle, Brown. Jaylen really became passive with Irving and Hayward on the team.

Jaylen is crazy to think he should be a #1 somewhere. He might not be good enough to be a #2 on a title team. Let's see if Tatum can carry him.

KG how can you write this with a straight face? We were in game 6 of finals last year with him as a number 2 and probably
Primarily lost cause tatum played terrible/was injured. What’s next I’m not sure curry is a championship player?

What on earth are you on about? Brown scores more at a better efficiency as the #2 option than Randle does as the #1 option on an inferior team.

Espn trade machine gives us plus 8 wins if we traded Smart and Grant for Julius.  Espn Algorithmen on the money here.
