There's some alternative reality where the Celtics big three of Randle, Bender, & Fultz are currently leading a dynasty.

Haha.  I like the multiverse where, with just a little luck or different decision making, we have Tatum / Mikal Bridges / Brown / Haliburton.

Randle is a Hornets or Pacers type player , get you to playoffs but not much further,  he makes to much and must have the ball to much to get better max contract guys .

Yep, in this alternative universe I think we trade Randle once we realise Tatum and Brown are legit #1 and #2 options.

I do wonder if we sign Horford though, or go a different route

What on earth are you on about? Brown scores more at a better efficiency as the #2 option than Randle does as the #1 option on an inferior team.
