I was thinking about what a cool fit Deandre Ayton would be on the Grizzlies and started to think about how they could sign him.  One way would be for Memphis to trade Steven Adams + future draft pick into Boston's TPE.  I think I'd be interested in that.  Adams feels like he's been in the league forever, but is only 28 years old and was pretty productive last season.  Your thoughts?

Adams would be a legit big man to bring off the bench -- better than Theis in terms of defense and rebounding though his ability to switch on to smaller players isn't great.  doesn't have Theis' ability to shoot either.

The Celtics need to spend their resources on getting the best wing possible.  They do not need a center.

Don't think he has enough value to BOS to justify the expense. Timelord is better as starter. Horford still has value switching between the PF and C positions; not sure I want Horford exclusively as a PF, I prefer him as a combo. Without Horford exclusively at PF, Adams doesn't have enough minutes.

I'd rather spend the TPE elsewhere on a wing player. That position is a better fit and thus better able to justify expenditure.

Adams would be a good stop-gap option at center for PHO as Ayton's replacement. Keep the Suns as an above average ball club.
