I'm so glad we're done with Giannis btw. My god, he may be talented but the things he gets away with and how he's reffed, UGH

amen

agreed

now moving forward will we get more favorable calls?

will we face another golden child like gianis?

maybe curry?

we should be in the clear with miami right????

Doncic is the only golden boy left in the tourney IMO. Though god knows with Pat Riley what could happen. He has been a good soldier for this administration.

But IMO the C's are way more compelling and exciting that the Heat. We should be OK to get at least a fair series,
The officiating in this series was not fair. What the Celtics' just accomplished is impressive.

Hopefully Smart didn't lose a nut on that last knee from Giannis

Maybe that'll make him faster...

Truly heroic. We shouldn't forget what happened today with the refs just because we won. They had an agenda, and that agenda was for Giannis to advance.

I've been watching this league for 25+ years and this might be the most shamefully-officiated game I've seen. The 4th foul on Tatum was headspinning. Taking our star out of the game - and 3 points off the board - on what was a clear defensive foul.

This league is still ultra corrupt

yup. well said. basically a miracle what we overcame

they wanted giannis to advance

we overcame insurmountable odds and stuffed it down their throat

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

yeah this is ridiculous
Yep
What's ridiculous is you three. After two years of a killer pandemic, although it's not mandatory to wear masks, if someone wants to, who cares? Let them.

Yep

If it's on his chin, you're right. Otherwise, he has his reasons.

Despite being 5-on-8 for most of that series, this team gutted it out

It baffles me how even in a Game 7 the refs are screwing our guys (Tatum) but Giannis will get nothing, and even tonight I'm sure Luka won't get fouls called on him or something  ::)

Will be enjoying a nice Old Fashion tonight, while celebrating a great win.

Well that sounds wonderful. But not as good as my dirty martini.

Dirty like the Charles River. With a big. Fat. Green olive for the Celtics. Cheers!!!

It is wonderful!  Following it with a Manhattan.  First bourbon then rye.  Then on to Miami!
