This is a legacy game for Jayson Tatum.

Forget the refs.

Forget special treatment of Giannis.

We just need to play hard from the opening whistle, with intent and focus.  Trust one another.  We do that, we should win the game. We are at our best when we play as a team.

Let's get this series evened up and get back to the garden 2-2!!

TP for you!!!  1000% agree with everything, esp the bolded.  We need to be the team on the floor for loose balls, giving the extra effort to share the ball, basically we need to want this win more.  Go Celtics!!!

Game 2 was must win and we responded.  Now we have to do it again.

Game 3, the two players that hurt us the most were Smart and RWill.  They were -11 when one or both were on the court.  They were +9 when neither was on the court.  Need to correct that, and I suspect they will.

Otherwise, I was not able to watch game 3 so I don't have much to offer in terms of adjustments.  This is probably going to be more about how the teams respond to pressure more than Xs and Os.
Tatum was the player who hurt the team the most. Get away from the +/- stat and just re-watch the game. Tatum was woeful the whole game on both sides of the ball.

That is fair.  The team did not play well with Tatum on the court either.  The +/- stats reveal this as well.  I can't disregard +/- altogether though as a kind of aggregate of who is on the court when good or bad things happen.  For the series, and last game in particular, Smart and RWill are well in the red and well below their regular season marks.  That was also the case for Tatum last game, not quite as far in the red as Smart and RWill but well below what the Celtics need him to be.  If we are -5 when Tatum is on the court, that is a big problem.  Tatum will need to play better, can't argue with that.

Single-game +/- is useless.

According to BB-Reference's Game Score metric (GmSc in the table linked below), Tatum's performance was the second-worst of his 57 career playoff games.

I don’t think this should affect us all that much. Grant starting in his place might actually work just as well or better for us. I hope…

Vegas with this news only moved the line half a point in the Bucks favor up to this point. So the smallest adjustment possible.

He was hurt frequently last game, but I didn't know it was looking like he'd be out.  What's the injury?

Yeah I mean something did seem a little off with Timelord. I respect him for gutting it out since his meniscus injury and surgery but you can tell he was not 100%. Oh well, next man up!

Is Theis really going to start over Grant? And if so is that to make sure that one of Al or Grant is guarding Giannis at all times?
